  1. I have 4.7 inch iPhone 7, will pick up new one next year. Just tried 8 Plus at home, Portrait photo is very nice. I want to have 2 cameras in my next iPhone. And I like more silver X. I'm curious which new functions would have new iPhones next year

  2. 👍Good video. Personally, I’m disappointed with the iPhone X. I was holding onto my 6 because I was truly hoping for a fantastic 10 year “anniversary edition” iPhone. If I wasn’t in a situation where I had to replace my iPhone, I would have kept my 6 (but it was falling apart & running out of storage). I just know that Apple is capable of doing so much better. I truly believe if Steve Jobs was still alive the 10 year iPhone would be so much better. I actually love the old iPhone design with the home button, so although a little disappointed, the 8 is okay for me (I have petite hands so the plus is too big for me). I think having a home button on the back would have been nice or using the Apple logo on the back as a home button would have been cool. I hate the notch at the top of the iPhone X screen for facial recognition (from a privacy perspective it’s not something I would ever use). I always get the black front design but this time when I got the 8 I was regretting not getting a different color but I just don’t like the white front. It would have been great if I could have gotten a black front with a gold or silver glass back. Oh well…so much for wishing & dreaming. 😔

  3. With regards to screen ratio, well more on tvs. I have some dvds and blu rays which are of tv programmes from the 1970s, 1980s. These are in a 4:3 aspect ratio. Now I always find that if I stretch these/make full screen for on my widescreen tv, I find the picture quality is not as sharp, more noticeably on the blu rays. So I always leave the picture setting on my equipment to show 4:3 stuff in its original aspect ratio. When I do this, I have black bars down the left and right handside of the video, but I tend to not notice them once I start watching whatever it is I’m watching. I think I’ll have the same opinion on the sensor bar notch too on the iPhone X and too be honest I actually like the look of it.

I will be doing the same with video on the iPhone X (ie I won’t be stretching/making full screen for videos for the reason I mentioned above).

Super helpful video by the way. There has been a lot of thought, research and time put into this video 🙂👍🏻

  5. I’m really looking forward to the iPhone X too. Last time I felt this excited about an iPhone was when the 6 Plus came out, as that was a big change (literally)from what I had previously.

I’m going with the 64GB version as I have a 128GB iPhone 7 Plus and I currently only have 26.8GB in use, so 64GB will be way more than enough. Plus I stream all my music now, and rarely download any onto my iPhone, unless I know I will be somewhere, where I won’t get service, which is exceptionally rare with the network I’m with.

Photos and videos I don’t tend to keep a lot on, and when I do any videoing for YouTube, the video gets deleted off of my iPhone once I have it uploaded onto YouTube.

Really liking the Space Grey. I had a look at a 8 Plus in Space Grey in a local phone shop the other week and it was a stunning colour/finish.
